Rare antique German bisque head doll in original condition, made ca. 1885-1890 by an unknown German maker. The doll stands ca. 12" (30 cm) tall. Her bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. Deep brown glass fixed eyes, open mouth with teeth, original mohair wig. Her wood and composition body with molded shoes and stockings is in good condition with no repair. There is a deformity of the left shoulder, maybe this is a factory defect. Her body has some areas of age-related wear. The doll wears a wonderful original outfit with a matching hat and cotton underclothes.
