Antique French Bisque Head Doll Emile Jumeau

A stunningly beautiful antique French bisque head doll made 1870-1890 by Jumeau. The doll is 27.5" (70 cm) tall. Her bisque head has no damage except a factory made firing defect, no other hairlines. The bisque head has been trans-illuminated for damage assessment. The head is marked "Depose Tete Jumeau".

French glass fixed eyes. Pierced ears with earrings. Closed mouth. Original cork pate and human hair wig. French wood and composition body in very good condition, no paint loss, no repaint.

This beautiful doll wears an antique cotton dress, cotton underwear. A straw hat with a veil. Antique leather shoes. She owns a small antique German bisque head doll on a kid body. The small doll has glass eyes with a fully operational eye mechanism. The small doll wears antique clothing, which is sewn on. (2727)
