E6D Jumeau Emile Douillet Antique French Bisque Head Doll

Very rare antique French bisque head doll made ca. 1890 by Jumeau. 1890 Emile Douillet took over the directorship of Jumeau et Cie. He began producing some Bébés Jumeau signed with his own initials.

She stands 18.1" (46 cm) tall. Her bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "E6D".

French glass fixed eyes. Closed mouth. Original human hair wig with Jumeau mark. Pierced ears with earrings. Original French 5-piece wood and composition body in very good condition.

The doll wears an antique dress decorated with lace, a red bonnet and cotton underclothes. Leather shoes. An old umbrella, which is purely decorative and cannot be opened.
