Antique French bisque head doll made ca. 1895-1899 by Jumeau. The doll stands 19.2" (49 cm) tall. Her bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "DEP Tete Jumeau 8". Deep brown glass eyes with fully operational eyes mechanism, original lid paint. Unfortunately she has lost her original eyelashes. Open mouth with 4 teeth. Antique human hair wig. Pierced ears with earrings. French wood and composition body in good condition, with an original Jumeau label. There is a functioning voice box in her torso. This doll wears an antique wool and velvet dress, old cotton underclothes, a corset and a silk bonnet. Antique leather shoes.
