Antique German bisque head doll made by Bruno Schmidt ca. 1904-1908. The doll stands 26.7" (68 cm) tall. Her bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "BSW Made in Gemany". Big beautiful deep brown glass eyes with fully operational eyes mechanism, well-preserved original lid paint and natural eyelashes. Open mouth with 4 teeth. Old human hair wig. Wood and composition body in very good condition, no repair or restoration. Her body has some areas of age-related wear. Vintage clothing: a beautiful silk dress embroidered with beads, a silk bonnet, cotton undergarments, and old oilcloth shoes.
