Rare antique German bisque head doll made by Bruno Schmidt ca. 1905-1910. The doll stands 10.6" (27 cm) tall. Her bisque head is made by Baehr & Proeschild. Her bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "500 BS 3/0". The doll is in excellent collectible condition, which is rare for dolls of such a small size. Deep brown beautiful glass eyes with fully operational eyes mechanism, original lid paint. Open mouth with 4 teeth. Original mohair wig. Wood and composition body in very good condition. No repair. Antique Oriental silk costume. Clogs with cork soles.
