This ca. 21" (54 cm) tall antique German bisque head doll was made by Baehr & Proeschild ca. 1905-1910. Her bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "476 8 ш".
She has an open mouth with 6 teeth, an old maybe original human hair wig, pierced ears and brown glass sleep eyes with original lid paint and fully operational eye mechanism. Wood and composition body in good condition.
This beautiful doll wears an antique Slavic folk costume. A long cotton shirt, a sleeveless velvet Slavic dress, a traditional Russian headdress. Cotton underclothes, old leather shoes.
