Antique German bisque head doll made ca. 1911 by Bruno Schmidt. Her bisque head is made by Bahr & Proschild. Her bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. There is a double marking of both factories on the head. The doll stands 15" (38 cm) tall. The doll has blue glass eyes with fully operational eye mechanism and original lid paint. Her natural eyelashes are also well preserved. Open mouth with 2 teeth, a movable tongue. Old human hair wig. The wooden-composite toddler body, in very good condition, without restoration. The original spring-jointed body assembly is preserved. Antique clothing: a cotton dress and bodysuit, an apron with a small pocket that holds a tiny antique celluloid doll. Old oilcloth shoes.
