Antique German bisque head doll made ca. 1911 by Bruno Schmidt. Her bisque head is made by Bahr & Proschild. Her bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The only issue is a small chip on the crown rim, possibly from production. There is a double marking of both factories on the head. The doll stands 14" (36 cm) tall. The doll has blue glass eyes with fully operational eye mechanism and original lid paint. Open mouth with 2 teeth, a movable tongue. Old mohair wig. The wooden-composite toddler body, in very good condition. One finger on the hand has been restored. The original spring-jointed body assembly is preserved. Antique clothing: a cotton romper and bodysuit. Old leather shoes, a straw hat. On the chest, an antique car-shaped brooch.
