Rare antique German bisque head doll made ca. 1900-1905. Her bisque head is probably made by Bahr & Proschild. Her bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "422". The doll stands 15" (38 cm) tall. She has glass sleep eyes with fully operational eye mechanism and original lid paint. Open mouth with teeth. Pierced earlobes with earrings. Old, maybe original human hair wig. Composition and wood body in very good condition. The doll wears antique clothing, a silk sleeveless dress, a batiste blouse, cotton bonnet, cotton underclothes, suede leather shoes. (2052)
