Antique German bisque head doll made ca. 1890 by Bahr & Proschild. The doll is 23.6" (60 cm) tall. The bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "260 dep".
Deep brown glass eyes with a fully operational eye mechanism and original lid paint. Open mouth with 4 teeth. Pierced ears with earrings. Old human hair wig.
Early wooden and composition body in good condition. The hands with some minimal repaint.
The doll wears antique clothing, a beautiful dress decorated with lace and ribbons, cotton underwear, floral head wreath, leather shoes.
