Antique German bisque head doll made ca. 1888. Her bisque head is made by Bahr & Proschild. The head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "212". The doll stands ca. 22.4" (57 cm) tall. The uneven edge of the rim occurred during the placement of the raw porcelain mass into the mold. Glass fixed eyes. Closed mouth. Pierced ears with earrings. Early original wood and composition body in good condition, no repair. Her body has some areas of age-related wear. A vintage French human hair wig. The doll wears antique clothing: a mink fur stole, a silk dress, cotton undergarments, old leather shoes, and a vintage umbrella.
