This is a charming 15.7" (40 cm) tall antique German China shoulder head doll made circa 1860s-1880s. Glazed bisque head with shoulder plate, arms and legs. No marks. Great condition, no damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. Molded black hair, a very well painted face including nose dots and single stroke eyebrows, eye liner and red accent lines over the eyes. She has a cloth body in good condition with no leakage of sawdust. The doll wears antique clothing. A silk dress, cotton underclothes. An old necklace.
