Early antique German papier mache doll ca. 1870-1880. Her head is unmarked. The doll is ca. 15.3" (39 cm) tall.
The head with a shoulder plate and hands are made of papier-mâché. Fixed glass eyes. The original mohair wig is non-removable and glued to the head. The body is vintage, made of fabric, well-preserved with no loss of filling. The doll wears an antique dress and a vintage hat. In her hand, she holds a woven basket with a ceramic teapot and cup.
