Antique German bisque head doll made by Alt, Beck & Gottschalck ca. 1912. The doll stands ca. 15" (39 cm) tall. Mold 1361. His bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. His head is marked "ABG 1361 38". The doll has an open mouth with 2 teeth, beautiful glass sleep eyes with fully operational eye mechanism. Original mohair wig. Wood and composition toddler body with straight wrists is in very good condition. This cute boy wears an antique sailor-style costume, cotton underclothes, a straw hat. Antique leather shoes.
